What to do in case of wildfire or other emergency

  • Dial 911 in an emergency. 
    Non-emergency dispatch can be reached at (530) 550-2320.
  • Truckee Police and Fire Depts now use CodeRed to communicate with cell phones in the area.
    Opt-in to CodeRED:
    • Online at mynevadacounty.com/oes or truckeepolice.com/disaster-preparedness
    • Call 211 or (833) DIAL211 / (833) 342-5211 
    • Text ReadyNevadaCounty to 99411 and follow the prompt 
  • Ready Nevada County Dashboard tool: 12678 Skislope is in zone TRK-E129.
    Watch closely also anything going on in zones NCO-E233, TRK-E122, TRK-E123, and TRK-125.

In addition to sharing the above with our renters, we are obligated to reiterate these rules:

  • Park only in our driveway. 
  • Put your garbage only in our bear box. 
  • Turn off exterior lights after 10 PM. 
  • Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM.
  • No fires except in our woodstove or gas grill. No smoking.
  • Fire extinguishers are in the pantry off the kitchen and on the railing at the top of the stairway upstairs.
