Rooms: Timberline Lodge will hold a block for rooms for ROW-10 participants until 26 August 2010. Participants should call 1-800-547-1406 to reserve their room. Ask for the ROW-10 room block. The conference rate will be $180/night, which is $40 below the standard rate. Double rooms (with two beds) exist within the room block if desirable.
Directions: Timberline Lodge is just over one hour’s drive east of Portland, Oregon. Access from the Portland Airport (PDX) is particularly easy. Detailed directions are given on the Lodge’s transportation page. At this time of year, public transportation is not readily available. Rental cars or shared rental cars are the best option (see ride-sharing below).
Lodging and meeting spaces will be provided by Timberline Lodge.
***The conference reservation deadline has passed. If Timberline Lodge rooms are not available, check with the nearby Mount Hood Inn or the 30-minute-away Resort at the Mountain.
Ride Sharing: We will attempt to coordinate rides between the Portland Airport and Timberline Lodge. The prime arrival period will be on Sunday, September 26th in the afternoon. Most people will be departing on Wednesday, September 29th in the afternoon.
