House Info
The House
Four bedrooms sleep 10 adults (or more if under 13 years of age per STR rules). Three and a half baths; gourmet kitchen; wireless internet; three-car garage with EV charger (level 2 with Tesla adapter); ADA access (elevator from garage to main floor); and level driveway (4 more cars can fit). Sunny lot with seasonal stream, greenbelt on two sides, and trail access nearby. Non-smoking. Well-behaved pets are welcome. Please do not use our skis or the canoe or allow rough-housing with the elevator or ski chair.
Beds:
The house is configured to sleep 10 plus overflow. A Cal King bed is in the en-suite bedroom on the main floor and an Eastern King bed is in the en-suite bedroom upstairs. A Queen bed is in the second bedroom upstairs. Twin bunkbeds and a Full bed are in the third bedroom upstairs. For overflow, a Full futon and a Queen pull-out couch are in the living room. Extra sheets, blankets and pillows are stowed in the upstairs hallway closet, the primary bedroom, and in the bench seat in the living room. Please bring your own sheets and towels if you won’t have time to wash and dry the house linens at the end of your stay.
Beds: 1 Cal King; 1 Eastern King; 1 Queen; 2 Fulls (including futon); 2 Twin bunk beds
Baths:
There are three full bathrooms and one 1/2 bath. Towels are in the hall closet upstairs. Extra TP and toiletries are in upstairs bathroom and hallway cupboards. Watch that the toilets don't run indefinitely.
Kitchen:
Please bring your own coffee and alcohol and replace any condiments or other food you use up. Wine glasses are in the cabinet near the dining room table. There are a dishwasher, gas stove and oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, Breville and DeLonghi espresso makers, French press, coffee grinder, milk foamer, toaster, blender, food processor, Sodastream, Instant Pot, Crock Pot, and electric tea pot. User manuals are on the bookshelf in the living room and in a drawer in the pantry.
Hot water pumps:
We installed "Chilipepper" pumps to bring hot water quickly to the kitchen sink and master bathrooms. A button is mounted just inside the cabinet under the kitchen sink, and remotes for the master pump are in the master bath and guest bath upstairs. The pumps (loudly) draw on the hot water line and shunt it to the cold line so none is wasted, until they sense that the water is hot, then turn off. They must be primed before use if the water main has been off: turn off the cold water valve under the sink where each pump is mounted and run hot water for a few moments to fill the pump housing, then turn the cold valve back on.
Drip Coffee Maker Instructions:
- For whole beans: place beans into the top bin (never put ground coffee into that bin), select “GRIND/BREW" on the front panel, select the number of cups worth of beans to be ground, put a matching amount of water into the right rear receptacle (see note below).
- For ground coffee: put ground coffee directly into the filter (never put grounds into the whole bean bin), press “BREW”.
- Then, either press “ON/OFF” button or press the “PROG” buttton for delayed brewing (press and hold “PROG” to change the programmed time).
- Note: coffee “cups” are 5 oz, not 8 oz, and the machine will use all of the water you put into that rear receptacle regardless of how many cups worth of beans you selected for it to grind.
